We are inviting applications for three substantive Consultant Urological Surgeon posts within the Department of Urology at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). These are full-time positions (10 PAs) with an initial focus on core urology, offering the opportunity to develop a subspecialty interest aligned with the department’s service needs. We are seeking committed and motivated consultants to join one of the largest urology teams in the UK. Applicants must be fully trained and competent in general urology. Experience in diagnostic urology, including urodynamics and trans-perineal prostate biopsies, is desirable. Together with Christie, the Trust is commissioned to deliver renal and pelvic cancer surgery in Manchester. It has an established robotic program with urology access to the robot on 2 sites with further plans for robotic access on a 3rdsite for benign 23-hour cases. It is a tertiary referral Centre for kidney stone surgery with an on-site lithotripter. It also has a high-volume andrology service. The trust delivers high volumes of TURBTs and kidney stone surgeries, and we welcome applicants keen to contribute to and enhance these services.
